While reviewing the local Government options I came across a surplus sale of approximately 90 Data911 computers. As they came with power supplies, daylight visible monitors, 12V DC-DC power converters, and everything else I was looking for in a car computer, I purchased them.
The purpose of this site is a working notebook of my work to install Linux or Windows XP on these older machines and turn a number of them into car computers, MP3 players, data acquisition systems, and whatever else I can think of.
If you are interested in obtaining a machine, feel free to contact me at daniel(dot)s(dot)anderson*at*windforge(dot)com.
